State Band Championships - August 2023
The State Brass Band Championships were held in Ballarat, and the band played brilliantly. They took 2nd place in Junior C grade, with a spirited rendition of Peter Graham's epic piece "The Journal of Phileas Fogg".
Bendigo Eisteddfod - May 2023
Our first contest! RYBB travelled to Bendigo for the Junior Brass Band section of their Eisteddfod. The band played very well, and won one of the sections, coming third overall.
Bandwagon Performance
Yarra City Council put on another Bandwagon event, this time in Condell Park in Fitzroy, at the end of Term 1, 2023. The band has grown since last time! (see below)

Christmas Busking
RYBB finished off 2022 playing Christmas music and raising several hundred dollars for the local branch of the Salvation Army.
